Introduction - Chewie

Hi there,

I'm fairly new to SAR but am the 4th generation of my family (that we know of!) to have been in the emergency services, personally doing a stint with FRS for the Civil Aviation Authority and later with a background in major incident planning from counter terrorism to natural disasters. I've a brother in OSG with the police and my father was career Ambulance Service with over 45yrs on the job before retiring, so probably safe to say there's not a lot as can shock me...

I'm a qualified Mental Health First Aider with a day job line managing approx. 50 staff, who work in remote locations, are customer facing and come from very varied backgrounds so am used to providing remote support on all sorts of issues and worries.

If you'd like to start an anonymous conversation, register and hit the SEND PM link under my name.

Thanks.
